The Single Mom & Doubt

Am I ruined?  Can someone love me again?  Will someone accept me and my children?  Will I make it.  Oh I hate doubt.  It rears it’s ugly head I’m convinced as soon as you get close to accomplishing something amazing.

You must kick it out my friend.  Fire it from your life.  Do not allow it to have access to your thoughts.  Your life is too precious to be plagued with doubt.

You know that kid who you have to remind over and over again to turn in their homework, bring their lunch box home, and to stay after school for music lessons, and they still forget?

Well, that kid was me. Plus, now I’m raising one just like me.

That type of personality also so easily forgets the love and possibility that is available to us IF we allow God in. We beat ourselves up when we forget, and make mistakes. Others are hard on us, and we are even harder on ourselves.

That must be why I love the Amplified version of the Bible. It uses the full translation of every greek word in the verse. It’s perfect if you’re like me and need the reminder of God’s love drilled into your head over and over and over again!

“His power that is at work within us, is able to carry out His purpose and do SUPERABUNDANTLY far over and above all that we dare ask or think infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams” -Ephesians 3:20 (Amplified Bible)

You mean it really can be that good? Oh I want that SUPERABUNDANT life God! OH god, I let your POWER work within me…
